PER CURIAM.

*1 The Court granted leave to file petition for writ of mandamus on June 8, 1995, and heard oral argument on June 22, 1995. Relator seeks a writ commanding the Honorable James W. Mehaffy, judge presiding over the 58th District Court, Jefferson County, Texas, to vacate his order dated May 22, 1995. Judge Mehaffy vacated the order on June 19, 1995. As no controversy exists between the parties, the question presented in the petition is moot.

The petition is DISMISSED as moot. We VACATE our June 8, 1995, order suspending the appellate timetables and abating the appeal in Cause No. 09-95-162, Bobbie Jean Chavis v. Director, State Employees Workers’ Compensation Division, State of Texas.

WRIT DISMISSED.
