This appeal arises pursuant to the Texas Workers’ Compensation Act, TEX. LAB. CODE ANN. § 401.001 et seq. (1989 Act). A contested case hearing was scheduled for February 6, 2002, but was reset for April 11, 2002. The appellant (claimant) appeals the hearing officer’s determinations that the claimant did not sustain a compensable injury on _______________; that the respondent (carrier) is relieved of liability because of the claimant’s failure to timely notify his employer of his alleged injury; and that the claimant did not have disability from a compensable injury. The carrier did not submit a response to the appeal.

DECISION

Affirmed.

After review of the record and the complained-of determinations, we have concluded that there is sufficient legal and factual support for the hearing officer’s decision. Cain v. Bain, 709 S.W.2d 175, 176 (Tex. 1976).

We affirm the hearing officer’s decision and order.
